We're keeping it short and sweet this week but we do have a couple of really fun announcements for you all so let's get right to it!
Cookin' Greens, Dragon's Den and Some FBC Members
Are you as big a fan of the Dragons on CBC's Dragon's Den as we are? Then you will definitely want to tune in this Sunday when one of our FBC2013 sponsors, Cookin' Greens, heads into the den to make their pitch. Will the Dragons pounce or open up their pockets?
And as part of an innovative social media campaign that starts this week, Cookin' Greens asked 5 Canadian food bloggers to each prepare one recipe to specifically please one of the Dragons, using Cookin' Greens of course. FBC Members The Tiffin Box, The Gouda Life, BS in the Kitchen, Eat Spin Run Repeat and Living Lou were all asked to participate with an original recipe. You can see their recipes on Cookin' Greens Facebook page starting today, with a new one released each day this week. Tune into the Dragon's Den broadcast on the 24th to find out which recipe was presented to the Dragons!
The Cutco Cooking Experience (GTA)
If you're in the Toronto area, CUTCO is inviting local food bloggers to participate in their "Foodies Forever" Blogger Launch, Thursday April 18th. Come find out what a CUTCO Cooking Experience is like, prepare some recipes and receive a gift just for coming (bring a guest and receive a second gift!). Working the Blogosphere (Montreal)
On March 25th at 7pm at the Atwater library, join a panel of four bloggers, including Aimee of Simple Bites, who will be discussing a variety of topics such as how to engage your readers and whether blog writing can be lucrative.
