The 31 Day Blog Cleanup Challenge
If today is January 20th, then that means we are on Day 20 of the FBC 31 Day Blog Challenge. We've been covering everything from cleaning up sidebars to networking to blog tech in bite sized chunks. We've had lots of great feedback and discussion on many of the topics so if you've missed out or are a new blogger, you'll want to check out the whole series.
GustoTV Casting Call
Many of you have heard of GustoTV, Canada's newest food and lifestyle channel. They are currently casting for two new original food television series.
The first series celebrates global cuisine and the second show's theme is being kept under wraps. You don't need to be a professional to audition but you must be:
- a foodie
- know how to cook (REALLY, really cook!)
- you have a BIG, fun personality.

BlogShop - Photoshop for Bloggers
Blogshop has been around for a while - it's two day long workshop for bloggers who want to get more out of Photoshop: learning how to create photo layouts, prep images for collages, retouch and colour correct etc. Unfortunately, it has always been a travelling workshop that you could only attend if it hit your city and the price tag is high (and they always sells out fast!). Until now. Blogshop is now available on-line with the latest class scheduled for Feb 25 & 26th - at a considerable discount from the in-person workshop. If this is something you've always wanted to attend, this could be the perfect opportunity.
