Valerie, as much as we would LOVE for all our members to come to the conference, the reality is, the vast majority of them can’t! We’ve mentioned #FBC2013 in the news every week for weeks and it’s been all over our social media. (and there’s a link to it at the top of the page in the main menu!). FBC is about much, much more than the conference and I think it’s ok if we take a break from it every now and then – I’m sure those not able to attend appreciate a little breathing room too 🙂

Hi there, I see now that I wasn’t noted last year in your list of award winners. My blog “Just a Smidgen” won First Place in 2012 for Best Weblog About Art and Photography and was a finalist this year in the Food and Drink category. I also won first place in 2012 in two categories for the Canadian Blog Awards (Best Blog about Art, Crafts, Cooking and Other Creative Activities and Best Food and Drink Blog). Lastly, just thought you might want to know my blog is also being published in February’s issue of the Artful Blogging magazine.. available at Chapter/Indigo bookstores.
