It's the Holidays! Can you feel it in the air? We here at FBC certainly can and are happy to share some members' favourite holiday-themed recipes with you today.
Liliana over at Cookbook Addiction brought these holiday spiced nuts to the FBC holiday party...
Julie at Please Pass the Ketchup was the only member to offer something suitable for the main dish - this turkey pot pie. This would also work for leftovers so it's doing double duty here today!
For a little something on the side, Corinna over at Food Gypsy suggests this boozy cranberry orange sauce.
And apparently, according to you, sweet FBC members, it being "The Holidays" means it's ok to eat treats at any hour of the day (and calories don't count over the holidays, right?) so you'll definitely need to be whipping up some of Mama B's salted caramel sandwich cookies.
Amy over at Family Feed Bag thought you might all like this chocolate candy cane bark...
Genevieve over at Vanilla & Spice wanted to share this Orange Cranberry Almond loaf...
or if you need some fruit in there amongst the treats, Amy suggests a little cranapple holiday crumble.
Cindy from Hun What's for Dinner brought butter tarts to the holiday party.
While Jeanine over at The Baking Beauties brought her gluten-free rolled sugar cookies.
Nat & Tim of A Cook not Mad wrote about the traditional fruit cake, Elizabeth from A Sweet Baker thought you might all like Candy Cane Oreo Stuffed Sugar Cookies (now that's a mouthful!.)
Our own Melissa of Eyes Bigger than my Stomach thought these chocolate Nutella thumbprint cookies would be a tasty addition to the FBC holiday table...
And Renee of Sweet Sugarbean thought these Raspberry Jam Jams would be perfect for friends and family on Christmas day.
While Laura of Food. Love. Happiness. wanted to share her holiday mini egg scones.
Natalie from Once Upon a Cutting Board thought these Candy Cane Oreo Cheesecake Bars were perfect for the holidays...
Helena and Marlina of Peaches & Cream thought everyone deserves a slice of Peppermint Mocha Cake since it is the holidays!
A few of us were on the same page with some holidays breakfast recipes. Courtney from The Fig Tree Blog suggests cranberry eggnog muffins with streusel... Our very own Ethan from Feeding Ethan thought these Sunday morning baked apples might be a nice holiday breakfast....
While Mardi from eat. live. travel. write. thought you might enjoy these festive looking scrambled egg, bacon and pepper muffins
Whatever you celebrate these holidays, enjoy!
We’re Tim and Nat from A Cook Not Mad, not to be confused with Natalie from Once Upon A Cutting Board 🙂
Ooops – so sorry Tim and Nat – changing that now.
Everything looks so delicious! I’m glad I could bring something good to the table. 🙂
I will be making and blogging about a turkey this Christmas. Next year for the roundup we can have the main event!
These delicious recipes will make a great addition to my Christmas baking repertoire!
It was a pleasure to participate in this event!
