We're very excited to announce our very first FBC workshop on getting the most out of Pinterest this coming November! We had so much fun and such a great response to our Food Photography Workshop last year and, of course, FBC2013 earlier this year, that we've been working to find more hands on events we can bring you across the country.
We'll be starting off with an all day Vancouver workshop on November 30th at the awesome Network Hub, led by Vincent Ng from MCNG Marketing (you can read Vincent's latest post for us on 5 tips to use Pinterest to drive traffic to your blog).
Vincent will take you through the ins and outs of using Pinterest, including:
- an introduction to Pinterest and it's terminology
- creating a Pinterest strategy
- visually optimizing your pins for exposure and going viral
- how to grow followers and build a community
- search optimizing your Pins within Pinterest
- optimizing your website for Pinterest sharing
- tools and resources to take your pinning to the next level
- case studies with bloggers and brands using Pinterest (Do's and Don'ts)
The day runs from 10am - 4pm and there will be lots of time allotted for Q&A. You don't need to be a food blogger to attend. This workshop is appropriate for all bloggers or small businesses - you just need to be thirsty for knowledge on how to use Pinterest to leverage your blog or your brand!
