At FBC, we have been proud supporters of Mealshare for many years and for the last two years, we’ve made them our official charity partner by committing our time and reach to help spread their message and celebrate great restaurants that have committed to making a difference.
Mealshare is a non-profit dedicated to ending youth hunger in Canada and around the world. For every Mealshare-branded menu items purchased from one of their restaurant partners, they provide one meal to a youth in need! And they’ve recently surpassed 2.7 million meals!
Their efforts are year-round because youth hunger doesn’t take a day off. But once a year, there is a special night to give Mealshare an extra big boost to make an even bigger impact and it’s called Tonight for Tomorrow.
On May 8th, participating restaurants across Vancouver, Calgary, and Ottawa are teaming up with Mealshare to help fight hunger with hunger! Every $1 spent on food equals $1 being donated to Mealshare to help grow their program in more cities across Canada and even into the United States!

Pressed Ottawa
Pressed is many things for many people and is actively committed to the community they serve. Their kitchen serves up delicious food featuring in-house smoked meats as well as great options for vegetarians and vegans. Pressed is a brunch destination on the weekends, a live music venue by night, big supporters of the local craft beer scene, a cafe, a creative space to check out some local art art, and even an office for some (free wifi of course).

Pelican Seafood Market & Grill
The Pelican is one of Ottawa’s oldest independent food businesses, family owned and operated for 3 generations (40 years). The Clocktower Brew Pub
The Clocktower Brew Pub is Ottawa’s longest established full service craft brewery. Since 1996, they’ve been brewing up great craft beer in-house alongside fresh and original food served in a comfortable and upbeat atmosphere. With 6 locations, The Clocktower is all over the Greater Ottawa area, including their newest location beside the CF Rideau Centre!
Anytime is a great time to check out The Clocktower but even more so with their new Happy Hour and Late Night Menu available every single day from 2-5pm and 9pm until close!
