Every week we pull together some great Canadian recipes from Canadian food bloggers around the web featuring one main ingredient or dish. This week, FBC members got inspired and shared 35 Granola recipes so you'll have lots of breakfast ideas!

Collage of granola recipes

The phrase "there is something for every taste" is more accurate than ever when we talk about granola. Raisins. No raisins. Oats, rolled old-fashioned or instant? Almonds, peanuts, coconut, chocolate, dried strawberries... or is it apricots? The options are virtually infinite!

Catering to the different tastes in your household is not hard when it comes to this mix of grains, nuts, dried fruits, and seeds. As you'll see in the examples below, you can have a basic recipe whose add-ons change with each family member's preferences and/or mood.

And granola's versatility goes beyond its actual ingredients. It offers a wide array of options when it comes to incorporating it into different meals throughout the day. If you are a breakfast-bowl type of person, then you'll probably sprinkle your yogurt and fruits with the crunchy cereal. Or maybe you prefer to take it to the office for a mid-morning guilt-free snack. Breakfast for dinner? Bring the granola onto that chia pudding!

Since you probably want to keep your granola game interesting, we've put together 35 granola recipes from FBC members who gave their own unexpected twist to their homemade cereal.
