Why did you start your blog? JordanHipson.com began after I hit the air in 2012, hosting At Home, a show where the audience can call in and ask questions about anything Living, Home, Food & More.
How did you decide on your blog name? This one is easy 🙂 It's my name!
What do you blog about? JordanHipson.com is about everything domestic: living, home, food & more!
What post are you most proud of and why? We are most proud of our contributor posts, nothing makes me happier than showcasing someone else's amazing work. If anyone wants to share something they have done, please let us know!
Which post do you wish received more love and why? I think our Making Vanilla Ice cream post, (one of our first), should have been a bigger hit. We wish people would step out of their comfort zone and make something even though it usually extremely easy and inexpensive to buy.
Which post’s success surprised you and why? Another one of our firsts, the making jean shorts article was quite successful. We didn't think people needed a how-to on making jean shorts, but everyone loved it!
What is one (non-kitchen) gadget you can’t live without? Very cliche, but my BlackBerry. Checking email on the go is extremely important to me, so without it I would not be where I am.
What is one kitchen gadget you can’t live without? As far as kitchen gadgets go, I think the most important thing in my arsenal is my knives. Think how different cooking would be today if we did not have the array of knives we do!
Favourite food, care to share a recipe? My all time favourite food is cheese. Cheeses of all types can change a basic recipe into something different and exciting.
What else should we know about you that may or not be in your “About Me” page? Hmm... can't think of anything at the moment!
What makes your blog unique? I think what makes our website unique is that it gives new, young and modern perspectives on day to day household tasks including cooking, organizing, cleaning, etc.
