Beware the Dragon.
Nah, just joking, don't be alarmed, we're talking about a friendly dragon named Paula of Dragon's Kitchen. Paula lives in Waterloo, Ontario, but she can be found all over southwestern Ontario at any number of food-related events with her big smile always lighting up the room.
When she's not out and about, she is in her kitchen creating pure magic in sweet and savory form. A welcome sight on her homepage right now is Southern Fried Chicken and all the fixin's. With her foodie-in-crime partner Peter of Kalofagas, they whipped up a meal that would make any Southerner proud complete with Art Smith's fried chicken, collard greens, cream mac n' cheese and cheddar and buttermilk biscuits. And in case anyone had room for dessert, they whipped up Chocolate, Banana & Peanut Butter Milkshakes.
Based on Twitter, Paula's work colleagues are treated daily to some wonderful baked goods and let's just say, those are some lucky colleagues! This Apple and Pomegranate tart and Mexican Wedding cookies are just two examples of Paula's baking prowess.
And just so you don't think it's all million calories meals over at the dragon's layer. Paula also has an Almond, Dried Cherry & Vanilla granola that is a perfect way to start the day or would make for an ideal afternoon snack.
The secret is out, this dragon breathes nothing but sweet sweet nothings!
