FBC Toronto Tweet-Up - With Feast!

For our GTA members, we're hosting a tweetup this week with the gals from Feast: An Edible Road Trip.  Come join us for an informal meetup this Wednesday from 7-9pm at Bellwoods Brewery and meet Dana and Lindsay from Feast.  They've got lots of great stories about where they've been and where they're headed and it's a great chance to meet some fellow local food bloggers.  The event is free and you can register through EventBrite.

The Calgary Food Bloggers Bake Sale

Celebrating it's THIRD year, the Calgary Food Bloggers Bake Sale is happening this Friday from 5-9pm at the Calgary Farmers' Market (during the 2nd annual Sundown Chowdown).  Organized by Vincci from Ceci n'est pas un food blog, this year's event will benefit the Calgary Foundation's Flood Rebuilding Fund.  What a great cause this year guys!

This is such a great way to see our Calgary members giving back to their community!  If you are in the area be sure to check it out and get yourself some tasty treats while meeting some of your favourite local food bloggers!  Check out the awesome list of Calgary FBC members who are participating!

Start From Scratch Fall Intake (Calgary & Saskatoon)

Start From Scratch is the brainchild of Dan Clapson from Dan's Goodside.  Along with fellow FBC Member Jacinthe Koddo from Food With Presence, and their team of instructors, they run this innovative program to get university students active in the kitchen by showing them how easy and fun it is (not to mention better for you and your budget).  They are now accepting applications for fall intake into their Saskatoon and Calgary programs.  If you know of a new university student who could use a little help in the kitchen, you might want to point them in this direction!
