This year there was a bumper crop of Canadian cookbooks published - and twenty of them were by Food Bloggers of Canada members.  Twenty!  That's the most we've ever had in a year (and it's soon to be 21 with Joy McCarthy's new book coming out after Christmas).  So when we put together our annual Cookbook Gift Guide, there was no shortage of homegrown talent to showcase.  From FBC Members to well loved Canadian chefs, restaurants and food writers - there is something for everyone on your list - including you.  And the best part of all is, you're supporting Canadian authors! Happy shopping and gifting! (PS... there's details on how you can enter to win more cookbooks at the bottom of the article!)

It’s so wonderful to see all these Canadian cookbooks, especially the ones by FBC members! I promote them on my blog and in my everyday encounters … after all, food is always a topic of conversation, and that leads to talking about cookbooks! I have a number of these already, but one that’s on my wish list this season is Purely Pumpkin by Allison Day.
